Yesterday morning I met my colleague Paolo at the bar. He was complaining about the difficulties he is facing in seducing an Italian woman. He said it’s impossible to make them happy: you do your best, and they seem to want more, or something different. You need to be intelligent, passionate, elegant, smart, rich but with true values, and still, it’s not enough. And I must admit my colleague is a very nice person and a fascinating guy.
Actually, Italian women are often described as ‘high maintenance, but is this the case? Yes, they are passionate, generous, and spontaneous. They have a great sense of humor; they love to have a good time and enjoy parties. They are beautiful and elegant, they love fashion.
All these characteristics can seem too much and weaken the strongest hero: we all doubt ourselves when we meet a person we like, most of all if she seems quite special. We think about our flaws, and we forget about our positive aspects.
