Ten minutes before my mother died, I fell asleep on the chair by her hospital bed. I dreamt of my lost father, who told me: “I came to take her”. I suddenly woke up from the nightmare, and looked at my two sisters, who were holding her hands. We could hear her breath becoming deeper and slower.
